FC Edmonton hosts the New York Cosmos this afternoon at Clarke Stadium in the North American Soccer League.
FC Edmonton is currently at No.5 in the team standings with one victory, two draws and one loss for five points while the Cosmos are better off with two points more coming from two victories, one draw and one loss.
FC Edmonton’s new coach Colin Miller, in a statement released by NASL, said the players are ready and excited to play New York and fans should be prepared for a great game.
The last time the Cosmos and Edmonton played at Clarke Stadium was on July 7, 1982 with the hosts winning, 2-1.
