The Tour of Alberta starts in Edmonton City with the Stage One kicking off on Wednesday, September 4, after the Prologue Festival and other activities on Tuesday, September 3, at Churchill Square.
Mayor Stephen Mandel announced on edmonton.ca that Edmontonians can watch the international professional race through downtown streets.
Residents are advised to take the LRT, ride a bike or walk to access the downtown core as several streets will be temporarily closed.
Major delays are expected on all roadways from 82nd Street to 112 Street and 82nd Street to 107 Avenue.(pinoy edmonton news)
