Police seeking tips, witnesses in shooting
Downtown Division members are investigating a shooting that occurred on Jan. 1, 2014 at the Ethiopian-Canadian Community Association, located at 105 Avenue and 115 Street.
At approximately 5 a.m. police responded to reports of gunshots both inside and outside of the building. Investigations revealed that an argument had broken out between several people outside the building before shots were fired. There were no injuries reported from the shooting.
It’s believed that there were hundreds of people in attendance throughout the night and police are looking for any information regarding this incident.
