Completing the Crooks squad were Selwyn Wagwag, RJ Librea, Sarce Garcia, Wes Palo, James Maglalang, Gemo Itliong, Majay Marquez, Jason Caag, Jason Wawaniwan, Jerry Soco and best forward Josh Santua whose contributions led to their victory against regular round most valuable player JR Sumaguit and Team R&D Bobcat.

The league has attracted 16 teams this year and organizers are expecting the number of squads to increase in the next season.

Doctolero, PSA’s president, said they have started also with a volleyball tournament and told Pinoy Edmonton News that it has also received support from Crosstown Auto Centre.

Surtida, who spoke on behalf of dealer-principal Joe Medina, announced their commitment to continually support sports events organized by Filipino-Albertans and hope that their contributions will make them healthy and productive Albertans.(pinoy edmonton news)
