A show of true embodiment of a modern Edmontonian beauty
Miss Earth Edmonton takes place at Royal Alberta Museum on May 16-17
EDMONTON — For two straight nights, it’s going to be a show of the true embodiment of a modern Edmontonian beauty when the Miss Earth Edmonton 2014 takes place at the Royal Alberta Museum.
The Beauties for a Cause event kicks off with the preliminaries on Friday, May 16 and contestants will present their environmental platform and talents for judges to evaluate and determine the front runners for the finals on May 17, Saturday.
The pageant finals will have a display of lovely evening gowns, swimsuits and contestants will get their chance to answer questions from the judges that will help determine who will grab the coveted titles.
The top 4 finalists will then be chosen and then the announcement of who will be the Miss AIR Edmonton, Miss FIRE Edmonton, Miss WATER Edmonton and Miss EARTH Edmonton winners.
Doors start to open at 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. show.
The Beauties for a Cause is a series of activities promoting sustainable and renewable energy, humanitarian causes and environmental awareness, according to Miss Earth Edmonton pageant director Myrhalyn Dela Rosa.
