Select outdoor pools extend hours until Friday, August 1, 2014

The City of Edmonton will extend public swim hours at select outdoor pools for the remainder of the week in light of the current heat wave.

Pools with extended hours include:

Wednesday, July 30

Oliver Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)
Mill Creek Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)

Thursday, July 31

Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)
Oliver Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)
Mill Creek Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)

Friday, August 1

Fred Broadstock Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)
Oliver Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)
Mill Creek Outdoor Pool (11am–9pm)

Please note that hours of operation are weather-dependent.

For residents looking to escape the heat, indoor pools at City of Edmonton Community Recreation and Leisure Centres are a great option.

For those wanting another outdoor option, the City’s seven District Park spray parks operate seven days a week from 9am–9pm.
