The winds may be getting cold in Edmonton but things are heating up in the 2014 Crosstown Auto Centre-Philippine Sports Association Fall/Winter Basketball League.

It’s getting hotter indeed as more teams have even joined this season, from 24 to 30.

“32 dapat ang teams, tinabla na lang namin to 30,” PSA vice-president Allan Angeles told the Pinoy Edmonton News.

The opening day is on October 11, Saturday with the opening game at 8 a.m.

Crosstown Auto Centre, Legends, Greatway Financial, Palabok House, Sun Life Financial, Pinoy Aces, Suspendibles and WillBross are entered in the master’s division while 22 squads are competing in the open division.

Organizers have decided to hold the league at the Father Michael Troy Catholic School, Archbishop Oscar Romero Catholic School and Mother Mary Margaret Catholic School to accommodate more playing schedules.(p.e.n.)
