Experience the Forbidden Flower at the Muttart Conservatory

For two weeks only, October 11-26, 2014, the Muttart Conservatory will display flowers so sensual and provocative that Victorian women were forbidden to keep them. When guests step through a veil of mist into our Orchid Buzz feature pyramid, they’ll enter a world of scent, colour, and rare orchid species that most people have never seen.

Sunday, October 12, the Orchid Species Preservation Foundationwill be leading tours and providing talks throughout the day, and orchids will be available for purchase while supplies last.

October 16 and 23, Culina Muttart will host special orchid dinners with a menu created exclusively for this event.
