Manny Pacquiao wins by unanimous decision!

ROUND 1 – Both fighters feeling each other out. Manny on the offense as he moves forward. Manny lands the first blow of the fight with stiff jab, followed by a body shot. Algieri moving backward to his left most of the round, and in some cases on the rope. Algieri lands one shot. Manny takes the round.

ROUND 2 – Algieri goes down for standing eight count on what appears to be a slip. More of the same so far, Manny moving forward while Algieri moving back to his left. Manny throwing punches while moving forward and landing. Algieri appears timid and still being cautious. Algieri’s right eye is bleeding. Manny takes the 2nd round.

ROUND 3 – Manny continues to try to cut off the ring by moving forward and throwing punches with conviction. Algieri has not yet come to fight and his rare punches seem to continue to be timid. Algieri looks slow compared to Manny. Manny dictating the fight thus far, and Algieri has no answer so far.

ROUND 4 – Manny stops pursuing and stands in the middle of the ring. Algieri offers himself up as target, and Manny tattoos him. Get’s in an upper cut and a head shot combo. Algieri moves forward and punches for the first time but misses. Manny takes another round.

ROUND 5 – Action now continues in the middle of the ring. Algieri lands his first solid punch on Manny’s head, but Manny is un-phased. Algieri now starting to get more aggressive by throwing punches, Manny counters by attacking and moving forward while Algieri goes backward instead of standing toe-to-toe. This round can go either way.

ROUND 6 – Manny forces the issue early in the round by lunging forward with Chris covering up to block Manny’s power shots. PAC MAN caught Algieri with left hook and knocked him on his butt. Algieri goes down a second time, but seems like a slip due to water in the ring. Fight continues. Algieri clings on to stop the assault from Manny. Mercifully round ends and Algieri survives.

ROUND 7 – Algieri continues to dance and move well in the ring, but Manny continues to find his target as Algieri is too slow or Manny is too fast and too good. Algieri’s height has been a non-factor, Manny is not bothered at all. Round was pretty much Algieri avoiding Manny’s punches by moving backwards and not really engaging.

ROUND 8 – Both fighters bouncing more in the middle of the ring. Manny throwing power jabs, while Algieri is throwing desperate counters to ward off Manny. Manny forces the issue the last 30 seconds and Algieri continues to keep his distance. Manny was the aggressor and Algieri did nothing. Manny should have won this round.

ROUND 9 – Through 9 rounds, Algieri has shown that he is out-classed and perhaps not worthy of this opportunity. Manny rocked Algieri with a vicious shot with his left hand that made Algieri’s head bounce off the ring. He gets knocked down a second time. He grabs hold in desperation with 20 seconds left. Algieri barely survives and is ready to go to sleep if he comes out for the 10th.

ROUND 10 – Chris gets knocked down with 20 seconds left and does a circus tumble on the ring floor. Saved by the bell again. Manny is world class. It does not seem fair at this point. Chris is afraid and looks like he wants to quit.

ROUND 11 – Manny having his way with Algieri, while his opponent shows very little desire to fight. Manny has taken his courage away from him even before the fight started. The only question left is if Manny will knock him out…Manny cruises in this round perhaps saving up for a TKO on the 12th?

ROUND 12 – Manny sizes Algieri first minute of the round. Now Manny presses and goes on the offensive. Manny throws a flurry of punches while Algieri’s back is against the rope. One minute to go…Manny stands in the middle of the ring and thorws a wild upper cut that misses. 30 seconds left…Manny goes out with a blaze of glory in the last 5 seconds, but Algieri ducks and goes backward.

DECISION – MANNY WINS UNANIMOUSLY!!! THE PEOPLE’S CHAMP!

POST FIGHT RING INTERVIEW – MANNY SAYS HE DID HIS BEST. HAPPY TO SEE ALL HIS FANS COMING OUT FOR THE FIGHT AND GIVES THANKS TO JESUS. MANNY JOKES WITH MAX KELLERMAN ABOUT MAYWEATHER, THEN TELLS THE WORLD HE IS READY TO FIGHT MAYWEATHER NEXT YEAR. ALGIERI GRACIOUS IN DEFEAT CALLING MANNY THE BEST!
