Concerned citizens continue to play a key role through Curb the Danger

Members of the public continue to play a significant role in removing intoxicated drivers from city streets.

The Edmonton Police Service’s Curb the Danger program encourages concerned citizens to take the time to report erratic drivers to police via 911 or 377 on their mobile, who then quickly mobilize resources in an attempt to locate and remove intoxicated drivers from Edmonton streets.

“The fact that citizens continue to contact police when they potentially spot an impaired driver, demonstrates their commitment to a partnership with the EPS to keeping city streets safe,” said Barney Stevens, Curb the Danger Program Coordinator. “We all share the roads together – our children, mothers and fathers – while travelling throughout the city, and it’s imperative that we do our best as a community to ensure they all get home safely.”
