Advisory on Consular Outreach Services for 2015

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is pleased to announce the Tentative Schedule for Consular Outreach Services for 2015.

The venues and dates for the consular outreach have been programmed to focus on specific areas where there is huge demand for passports and other consular services. The Consulate also desires to visit new areas to reach out to more Filipinos including those areas not often visited.

For reasons of efficiency, transparency and order, passport applications during the outreach will continue to be on appointment basis through the Consulate’s online appointment system.

Other consular services may be availed of on-site except for Dual Citizenship applications which needs prior submission of requirements to the Consulate to be able to participate in the oath-taking during the outreach.

The Philippine Consulate General is committed to delivering quality service and more convenience to the Filipino community in British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

*NOTE: Announcements will be posted on the homepage of the Consulate’s website and on its Facebook page about the opening of the online booking for each consular outreach.

Passport application is always in person and by appointment only. No walk-ins allowed for passport renewal during the outreach program.

B.  REACQUISITION/RETENTION OF PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP (RA 9225) 

Application form/requirements MUST be submitted to the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver at the latest two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled consular outreach.  Note that applicable fees (in Money Order form) must be submitted with your application.

C.  ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AUTHENTICATION/NBI/REPORTS OF BIRTH, DEATH, or MARRIAGE (Walk-ins allowed – no need to secure an appointment)

The Consulate has not authorized any person or entity to collect any payments in its behalf and will ONLY ACCEPT payments on site in MONEY ORDER or BANK DRAFT made payable to the PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL.  Personal checks will NOT be accepted.  

One money order may be used to pay for all application fees of family members applying on the SAME DAY and must reflect the correct and exact total charge.

Passport applicants must submit one (1) expressPost return envelope per applicant.
