Get ready to celebrate at the K-Days Parade
Experience the excitement and pageantry of the 2015 K-Days Parade. On Friday, July 17, 2015 the streets of Downtown Edmonton will be teeming with more than 100 entries to delight parade-watchers including new floats, marching bands, horses, antique cars and more. This year’s parade will begin at 10 a.m. at 106 Street and 102 Avenue.
Parade Day travel delays, parking and road restrictions
Edmontonians who live and work in the Downtown area are reminded about parking restrictions and road closures on parade day.
- Assembly Area closed 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. – The assembly area, located between Jasper Avenue and 104 Avenue, from 106 Street to 108 Street, will be closed at 6.a.m. Access to off-street parking facilities in the assembly area will be available until 8:30 a.m. from the intersections of 104 Avenue and 106 Street, and Jasper Avenue and 106 Street ONLY.
- Parade Route closed from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. – The parade will start at 102 Avenue and 106 Street, travelling eastbound on 102 Avenue to 100 Street. It will then turn north on 100 Street heading to 102A Avenue/103 Avenue, where it will travel west on 102A Avenue/103 Avenue to 106 Street.

ETS bus detours
ETS routes in the Downtown area will detour for the parade starting early morning until the parade clears. Please check detour times for specific routes, as they may vary. Regular transit fares apply.
Getting to the Parade: Use LRT or Routes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 52, 100, 111, 112, 125, 134, 140, 308 or 309.
Avoid the Downtown road closures and parking restrictions on parade day by taking the bus or LRT. Use an ETS Day Pass to go to the parade and K-Days. The cost is just $9 and allows unlimited travel on ETS for one day for one adult and up to four children ages 12 and under travelling with that adult.
