Get creative and shape your Winterscape
Don’t let a little snow prevent you from making your front yard bloom. Thanks to the City’s Edmonton in Bloom: Winterscapes program, you can celebrate winter and beautify your neighbourhood by creating unique winterscapes. Nominate your friends and neighbours for their winter creations and they could win a 2016 Edmonton in Bloom Award.
A winterscape can include snow, ice, lights, landscaping, ornaments, and winter-themed scenery. Individuals, families and teams can participate by building a winterscape in the front yard of their home, community hall, or school.
Nominations will be accepted from January 11 to February 21, 2016. Those who submit nominations will be entered into a random draw to win some cool prizes. Individuals and group submissions are welcome, and self-nomination is encouraged.
