Premier Notley speaks to Albertans on CTV, Global on April 7
Premier Rachel Notley will outline the government’s plan to create jobs and help families through the economic shock created by low oil prices.
After travelling around the province meeting Albertans and hearing their views on the province’s budget, the Premier will address the province on local CTV and Global stations this Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
“There is no doubt the oil price collapse is causing serious economic pain and it’s a scary time for many families. I want to talk directly to Albertans about what we’re up against and walk them through our plan to get Alberta through this.”
The 15 minute televised address will be broadcast during primetime news on both Global and CTV. It is estimated to reach more than 300,000 Albertans. The video will also be posted onalberta.ca/premier.cfm
The total cost for production and air time for the televised address is $90,000.
The leader of Alberta’s Official Opposition is being offered the opportunity to reply to the Premier’s address at a later date.
Details on embargoed media access to the pre-recorded televised address will be released on Thursday, April 7.
