NWEBC Inter-Town basketball tourney on March 18-19

Eight teams are participating in the two-day North West Edmonton Ballers Club Inter-Town Invitational Tournament on March 18-19 at the Saville Sports Community Center in Edmonton.

Lead organizer Jhong Montecillo said the event is designed to bring Filipino basketball enthusiasts in the Province together.

Competing are the Stony Plain Barakos, Sherwood Park Jammers, Spruce Grove Flying Eagles, Bonnyville Bombers, Slave Lakers, Edmonton Genesis, NWEBC Legends and NWEBC Rising Stars.

Officiating the games are from the Edmonton Basketball Officals Association (EBOA).

Team and individual awards will be given on Sunday’s closing ceremony.(p.e.n.)
