Philippines retains SEABA title as Gilas pummels Indonesia in finals

MANILA (Philippines News Agency) — Southeast Asian basketball domination repeated!
Gilas gave the Philippines its eighth SEABA Men’s Championship title after blowing out Indonesia, 97-64, in the championship game at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Thursday night.
Gilas quickly built a 20-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
Andray Blatche buried four triples for 21 points with 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal for Gilas, which completed a 6-0 sweep of the tournament en route to securing a spot in the FIBA Asia Cup and the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
Arki Wisnu made 11 markers, one rebound, and four dimes for Indonesia, which settled for the silver. (PNA)
