No Filipino hurt in Times Square incident –DFA
MANILA(Philippines News Agency) — No Filipinos were reported hurt so far in the Times Square incident Thursday when a car slammed into crowd, killing one person and injuring 22.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Friday said its Consulate General in New York is closely coordinating with New York authorities.
“(It) is ready to provide consular assistance to affected Filipinos should it be needed,” the DFA said in a statement. (LDV/PNA)
