Workers, leaders gather on Sunday for a forum on migrant issues in Western Canada

Migrant workers and organization leaders gather on Sunday, June 4, in a meeting dubbed “MIGRANT VOICES: A Forum of Migrant Issues in Western Canada” at the Parkdale Cromdale Community League in Edmonton.

The gathering starts at 9 a.m. and organizers will share information and strategies on how to support and advocate for the rights of migrant workers.

Temporary foreign workers are encouraged to join the Forum and avail of the opportunity to learn of the services offered by settlement, human rights, labor union and grassroots migrant justice organizations.(p.e.n.)
