Himig Pinoy FM takes a two-day break starting on Tuesday and will resume its broadcast on Thursday.
Program director Rolan Latorre said the Blue Jays games will be on air during their regular broadcast spots from 5 to 6 p.m.
“Balik kami ng Thursday and by next week, regular programming na,” he said.
Himig Pinoy on 101.7 FM, owned by Rogers, used to be a once a week broadcast and has moved to a Monday to Friday broadcast.
The Filipino community can request Original Pilipino Music, make announcements on their events, among others.
“Welcome po lahat sa sino mang gustong bumisita o kaya maki jam sa station,” said Latorre, who is also accompanied by DJs Marky and Patrick.(p.e.n.)
