PSA basketball league unwraps on Saturday

Edmonton’s biggest Filipino basketball league organized by the Philippine Sports Association (PSA) unwraps on Saturday, March 3, at the Father Michael Troy gym.

Barako plays Click Car in the opener at 8 a.m. while Changes for Hope meets Team Morinville in the main game at 8 p.m.

PSA president Gary Perpetua said a total of 57 teams are entered in the Spring/Summer Season edition this year.

“Maraming salamat sa suporta ng mga teams at mga volunteers,” said Perpetua.

After the 10 games on Saturday, the league resumes on Sunday at the Archbishop Romero gym with Hanjan Restaurant meeting Fine Lines/M1 Security at 8 a.m. while Spruce Grove collides with Cameron Homes in the main game at 4 p.m.

The league is backed by Crosstown Auto Centre. (p.e.n.)
