Ellerslie Road and Gateway Boulevard Lane Closures

Beginning the morning of Thursday, July 5, the eastbound Ellerslie Road overpass at Gateway Boulevard will be reduced to one lane for right turn improvements that include road removal and creation of a new curb, gutter and walkway. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained on the south side of the road for the duration of the construction. Construction is anticipated to be complete within one month.

The Gateway Boulevard on-ramp to Ellerslie Road will be reduced to one lane for road construction during off-peak hours (9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) from July 5 – 12, and will continue during all hours from July 16 – 20 and July 26.

Construction is expected to cause delays in the area. Please detour by using the 23 Avenue or 41 Avenue on-ramps.
