Filipino actor Wowie de Guzman, formerly with Universal Motion Dancers, pumped up the crowd, Saturday night (Nov.16), in a Zumba Dance Marathon in Edmonton.
De Guzman, a matinee idol in the Philippines in the 1990’s, led the event with Retro King Bennie Almonte, Yvette and Manny and finished the dance marathon successfully at the Game Time Playground & Sports Centre in Edmonton.
“Sobrang saya nila. Three hours zumba, super enjoy sila,” said organizer Manny Arban.
The event also raised funds for the BJMP Inmates Children and RSCC Orphanage in the Philippines, said Arban.(pinoy edmonton news service/contributed photos)
