Manny Pacquiao to arrive in Alberta today;
MPBL games set in Calgary, Edmonton
EDMONTON — One of the world’s greatest professional boxers of all time and Philippine Senator Manny Pacquiao and the MPBL are coming to Alberta.
Calgary-based organizer Maricel Salazar said the “Pambansang Kamao” and founder of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) is arriving today.
A Selection Team will play with the visiting squads from the Philippines in Calgary tomorrow, Dec.27, at the 7 Chiefs Sportsflex on 9911 Chiila Boulevard, Tsuu’t Ina Nation.
The MPBL teams will be in Edmonton on Friday, Dec.28, for another day of exhibition games at the Edmonton Expo Centre.
