PCG CALGARY RESUMES SATURDAY CONSULAR SERVICE FOR PASSPORT APPLICATIONS
CALGARY — After being unable to conduct its once-a-month Saturday consular service from March to June 2020 due to the province of Alberta’s declaration of public health emergency related to COVID-19 pandemic, the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary resumed its Saturday consular service on 18 July 2020 and processed a total of 67 in-person passport renewal applications that day.
The PCG has announced that it will conduct two (2) Saturday consular services per month from July to October 2020 to accommodate more passport applicants.
During this period, the other Saturday consular services will be held on the following dates: 25 July 2020; 8 and 15 August 2020; 19 and 26 September 2020; and 17 and 24 October 2020.
The PCG will go back to its once-a-month Saturday consular service on 21 November and 19 December 2020.
In compliance with physical distancing and other public health measures still in place in Alberta due to COVID-19, the PCG is accepting in-person applications for passport renewal only at this time. All other consular services are accepted and released by mail.
