Filipino-Canadian students at the University of Alberta have been raising money for those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the Philippines.

Their “DoNation” fundraiser is just $526 short of their $3,000 target.

University of Alberta Philippine Students’ Association, known as Philsa, made the announcement on FB today:

“We are only $526 away from reaching our $3000 goal for the DoNation: Give a Little, Help a Lot fundraiser, which aims to help support families affected by the COVID-19 restrictions in the Philippines by providing grocery packages enough to support a family for at least two weeks.
