BURSARY PROGRAM FOR THE FILIPINO INTERNATIONALLY EDUCATED NURSES IN ALBERTA
As part of the implementation of the Philippines-Alberta MOU on the Recruitment of Filipino Nurses signed on 6 October 2022, which the Department of Migrant Workers and Philippine Consulate General in Calgary successfully negotiated with the Alberta Government, the Filipino internationally educated nurses (IEN) in Alberta can now get as much as $30K in financial grant that they can use to pay for their assessment fees, tuition for nursing bridging program, and living expenses.

The Philippine Consulate General in Calgary strongly encourages our Filipino IEN in Alberta to avail themselves of this BIEN so they can eventually practice as full-fledged nurses in the province.
