Yakap Alberta Foundation (YAF) celebrated its first year anniversary, July 27, at a local hotel in Edmonton.
Yakap Alberta Foundation headed by its president Benjie Lindo and secretariat head Mharian Bohol, has partnered with various organizations in serving newcomers, international students and other members of the community by organizing information sessions and raising funds to address needs for food and clothing.
The celebration took place with the attendance of newly-installed Consul-General in Alberta and Saskatchewan Provinces, Emma Sarne, Alberta province and City of Edmonton elected officials.
