Prepare your home for summer storms

Heavy rain and wind can cause damage to your home and property.

To prepare your home for summer storms, check:
 the seal around your windows, skylights and doors to prevent water leaks
 your drainage, such as eavestroughs and downspouts, so they are clear of debris and point away from your home
 loose objects outside, to make sure they’re secure and won’t become a hazard in strong winds

Remember to review your insurance coverage every year with your insurance representative. Make sure you know what you’re covered for.
