Upcoming rehabilitation work at Coliseum LRT station

From April 27 to mid-September, crews will be conducting rehabilitation work on the Coliseum LRT bridge to ensure continued safety and accessibility to the public. As a result of this work, only one track will be available for Capital Line trains, impacting service schedules and frequencies.

Capital Line frequencies:
During the weekdays, the Capital Line will run 10 minutes from the start of service until 7 p.m. After 7 p.m., trains will run every 15 minutes until the end of service.
On the weekends, Capital Line trains will run regular service.

Metro Line temporary schedule changes
On weekdays, from the start of service to 7 p.m., Metro Line trains will run every 10 minutes from NAIT/Blatchford Market to Century Park. This change will result in five-minute train frequencies on the Metro Line between Churchill and Century Park during peak operating periods.
After 7 p.m., Metro Line trains will run every 15 minutes and will return to running between NAIT/Blatchford Market and Health Sciences/Jubilee Station. On weekends, the Metro Line will run regular service.

This is not a permanent change. After the rehabilitation work is complete, the Metro Line will resume regular service to only run between NAIT/Blatchford Market and Health Sciences/Jubilee stations at all times during the day. Riders will be informed through social media and at edmonton.ca/TransitAlerts when regular service resumes.
