Edmonton’s spray parks start opening May 17
Edmontonians can soon enjoy the City’s 78 spray parks, including a new park in the Schonsee neighbourhood. City crews are cleaning and preparing every spray park, with district park locations set to open on May 17. All available City spray parks will open by June 6.
“As Edmontonians start looking forward to summer, crews are busy preparing all spray parks to ensure they are operating safely, so families can have fun and cool off in the sun,” said Cheryl Fereday, Acting Director, Infrastructure and Maintenance.
“The City of Edmonton is working to build a healthy city for everyone, and our network of spray parks provides free and accessible opportunities for everyone to enjoy the outdoors.”
Residents can check the map at edmonton.ca/SprayParks to find an open spray park. The map displays all City spray parks and is updated daily with operating status and hours.
