Muttart Conservatory brings international floral show “ARTISTE” with Fleurs de Villes

Fleurs de Villes, a Canadian-based, global floral phenomenon, returns to Edmonton from September 26 to October 5, 2025 with Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE. Making its debut at the iconic Muttart Conservatory, this spectacular 10-day fresh floral celebration of Edmonton’s vibrant arts and cultural scene will be brought to life by talented local floral designers.

The stunning exhibition will transform the Muttart Conservatory pyramids into an immersive artistic experience, featuring a curated collection of one-of-a-kind fresh floral mannequins. Each mannequin is inspired by Edmonton’s leading arts and cultural institutions, including galleries, symphony, theatre and visual arts.

“We are so excited to be working with Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE to bring this exquisite show to the Muttart Conservatory for the first time,” said Rhonda Norman, Director, River Valley and Horticulture, City of Edmonton. “It is the perfect venue to host this must-see event. Visitors in the region can celebrate Edmonton’s rich arts and culture in our spectacular setting amongst the four botanical pyramids. We expect to be very busy and have extended viewing hours to accommodate demand. There will be some exclusive events throughout the show so please get your tickets early.”

“Fleurs de Villes celebrates art, history and culture through immersive fresh floral story-telling, celebrating top local florists,” said Karen Marshall, Co-Founder of Fleurs de Villes. “With Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE we are thrilled to celebrate the rich, cultural arts scene in Edmonton in the historic Muttart Conservatory for an experience like none other. This will be THE floral event of the year.”

This showcase of floral artistry takes visitors on a journey of discovery, featuring mannequins inspired by upcoming performances from the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Citadel Theatre, Shumka, and the Edmonton Chamber Music Society. It also highlights the striking architecture of TELUS World of Science Edmonton and the Muttart Conservatory, the stunning gardens of the UofA Botanic Garden, the Art Gallery of Alberta, and a mannequin inspired by Indigenous cultures, with a design concept created especially for this show by an artist from I.A.M. Collective.

The exhibition will offer unique experiences, and the Muttart will have extended hours throughout the 10 days to accommodate demand. A launch event on Friday evening, September 26, will welcome guests to an exclusive reception at the Muttart Conservatory, with a limited number of tickets available to the public. On Sunday, September 28, a special 18+ after hours at Muttart event will offer a unique and intimate way to explore the artistry of Fleurs de Villes. Enjoy canapes, cocktails, music and the opportunity to see the pyramids in a whole new light.

During the show, visitors are encouraged to vote for their favourite floral mannequin for a chance to win a two-night stay in a Deluxe King View room at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, plus the Ultimate Edmonton Arts Package, a prize valued at more than $4,600.

In addition, off-site installations will be featured in the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald lobby and at the Canadian Country Expo located at the Edmonton EXPO Centre during Canadian Finals Rodeo Week. Inside the Muttart Conservatory, Café Bloom will offer a specially curated floral-inspired menu throughout the show, extending the floral artistry into a unique culinary experience.

Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE in Edmonton is presented by the City of Edmonton with support from Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, Cafe Bloom, Canadian Finals Rodeo, and floral wholesale partner Florist’s Supply. The full list of florists and curatorial partners includes:
