PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR MEETS FILIPINO COMMUNITY IN EDMONTON
Edmonton — Philippine Ambassador Jose Victor V. Chan-Gonzaga met the Filipino community in Edmonton on 24 November 2025 as part of his official visit to the Province of Alberta. The event celebrated the contributions of over 80,000 Filipinos in Edmonton, highlighting their role in healthcare, entrepreneurship, education, and culture.
Ambassador Chan-Gonzaga reaffirmed the commitment of the Philippine Embassy and Consulate General in Calgary to provide efficient services, support credentials recognition, and promote Filipino trade and culture. The Ambassador also encouraged active participation in the programs of the Embassy and the Consulate, Overseas Voting Registration, and the upcoming Winter Escapade.
