Shooters Basketball League Tips Off March 7, 2026

The Shooters Basketball League (SBL) is set to open its much-anticipated new season on March 7, 2026, bringing competitive basketball and community pride together once again. Organized by Floyyd Eyao, Joven Datu, and Oliver Branzuela, the league continues to grow as one of the premier Filipino-focused basketball leagues in the region.

This season, SBL will feature three competitive divisions, designed to ensure balanced play and exciting matchups for all participants.

The Masters Division is open to players 35 years old and up, catering to seasoned competitors who continue to showcase high-level skill, experience, and basketball IQ.

Adding more excitement to the Masters (35 and Up) Division, Crosstown Autocentre has officially confirmed their participation for the upcoming season. Known for their high-tempo style of play, disciplined execution, and trademark never-say-die attitude, Crosstown is expected to be one of the teams to watch. Their ability to push the pace while maintaining composure has made them a perennial crowd favorite, and they are once again ready to showcase their competitive edge when the league tips off in March.

The Mid-Level Division is designed for developing teams, with a 5’9” height limit and restrictions on elite players to maintain fair competition. All teams in this division will undergo a review process to ensure parity and integrity within the league.

The Advance Division welcomes all players, with a 6’0” height limit, allowing each team to include one player who exceeds the height restriction. This division is expected to feature fast-paced, high-intensity action.

In keeping with the league’s cultural focus, players must be of Filipino descent, aligning with Shooters Basketball League’s mission to celebrate Filipino talent, unity, and sportsmanship.

The entry fee is $1,500 per team, with attractive prizes on the line. Champions will take home $2,000, while runner-up teams will receive $500, with prizes applying to all divisions.

The official venue will be announced soon, but anticipation is already building as teams prepare for tip-off. With competitive divisions, strong leadership, and a growing following, the Shooters Basketball League is poised for another exciting season of basketball action.

For registration and inquiries, teams are encouraged to contact the league organizers or visit the Shooters Basketball League Facebook page.
