Edmonton Fire Rescue Services is looking for community-minded individuals to join its team and begin an exciting, challenging and rewarding career in the fire service. Applications to become an Edmonton firefighter are now being accepted until January 31.

“The modern fire service requires a balance of tradition and innovation,” said David Lazenby, Fire Chief. “We seek dedicated individuals who wish to continue to build on our proud 120 year history while helping us push boundaries and find new ways of doing business as our city grows. This career often demands high levels of accountability and a genuine desire to provide the highest levels of service to the residents of Edmonton.”

After applying, individuals will enter into the recruitment process that evaluates their suitability for the role. This testing offers valuable insights into an applicant’s unique skills, abilities, career background and lived experiences.
