News Release
Large loads affect travel in north central Alberta
Drivers travelling between Tofield and Lloydminster may experience delays as two large, slow-moving loads move east on Jan. 12 and 15.
On both days, two loads will leave at the same time and travel together until they reach their destination in Lloydminster. The loads will be escorted with guide vehicles, below posted speed limits using the entire width of the highway including shoulder. Due to their large size and weight, they will travel at a maximum speed of 60 km/h.
