Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team Returns to TSN for FIFA Series 2026
Toronto, ON — Canada Soccer and Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment (CSME) today announced that TSN will deliver live coverage of Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team (CANWNT) at the FIFA Series 2026.
Offering these matches to a wider audience in Canada represent a continued step in expanding the visibility of Canadian soccer and bringing the National Teams to a broader mainstream audience through key linear broadcast partnerships.
This marks the second time in 2026 that the CANWNT will be featured on TSN, following coverage of the SheBelieves Cup in March. Matches will also be available on OneSoccer, as momentum continues to build around the program’s presence across both broadcast and streaming platforms.
“This is an important window for us. We’re focused on continuing to build our identity, test ourselves against high-quality opposition, and take another step forward as a team,” said Casey Stoney, CANWNT head coach. “Playing in a tournament like the FIFA Series, and having Canadians able to follow that journey more closely, really matters as we push toward FIFA World Cup qualifying later this year.”
Canada, currently ranked ninth in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings, will face Zambia (66), Korea Republic (19), and hosts Brazil (8) in group play, with all matches taking place at Arena Pantanal in Cuiabá, Brazil.
Canada matches will air at the following times:
Canada vs. Zambia — Saturday, April 11 at 3 p.m. ET
Canada vs. Korea Republic — Tuesday, April 14 at 3 p.m. ET
Canada vs. Brazil — Saturday, April 18 at 9:30 p.m. ET
Kate McKenna will host coverage on Saturday, April 11 alongside analysts Amy Walsh, a Canada Soccer Women’s National Team alum, and Jordan Wilson, a former Canadian Premier League defender. Andi Petrillo will host coverage on April 14 with Walsh and Wilson, and again on April 18 alongside Walsh. All matches will be called by play-by-play commentator Adam Jenkins and analyst Jessica Lisi.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to growing the game’s reach across the country, ensuring more Canadians can connect with their National Teams at pivotal moments in the international calendar such as the road to the Concacaf W Championship, the qualification pathway for both the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 and the LA28 Olympic Games.
“Expanding the reach of Canada Soccer’s National Teams is central to our strategy as we continue to grow the game across the country,” said James Johnson, Group CEO, Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment. “By building a strong distribution model across both linear and streaming platforms, we’re ensuring more Canadians can connect with our teams at the most important moments all year.”
The FIFA Series brings together national teams from across all six confederations, creating unique international matchups while supporting the continued growth of the global game. The 2026 edition features 50 nations across 13 groups, with competition hosted in 12 countries. Matches that finish level will go directly to a penalty shootout, with no extra time played, and each group will produce a single winner in a format designed to increase competitiveness and fan engagement.
