PAL cancels all Tacloban flights Dec. 7-14
Philippine Airlines (PAL) is temporarily suspending operations at Tacloban airport effective December 7 until Dec. 14, after the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) restricted the use of the airport to military and general aviation doing relief operations.
With the closure of Tacloban to commercial flights, passengers booked on any of the six daily PAL flights to/from Tacloban from Dec. 7 to 14 are advised to contact PAL Reservations for rebooking or refund of tickets.
PAL’s contact centers will be calling affected passengers, particularly those who provided contact information when they booked with PAL.
Passengers may rebook for travel within 30 days from original flight date, with rebooking fees/charges waived.
If passenger is unable to rebook on the same fare class, rebooking on a higher booking class will be allowed, with fare difference also waived.
