GQ plays highly-favored Crooks on Saturday

The 2015 Spring League of the Philippine Sport Association (PSA) opens with six games on Saturday, March 7 at the Holy Trinity Catholic School.
GQ United plays highly-favored Crooks in the curtain-raiser at 8 a.m. while the visiting St.Albert GFS takes on Bomb Squad at 9:20 a.m.
Pasaway battles Force at 10:40 a.m., followed by Team Eswar against Greatway Financial at 12 noon, Southside Ballers against Extreme at 1:20 p.m. in the open division and Cool Daddy versus Sunlife Financial at 2:40 p.m. for the lone master’s division game.
On Sunday, March 8, aside from the games at Trinity, six games are also scheduled at the Archbishop Oscar Romero School.
“We have grown,” PSA vice-president Allan Angeles told the Pinoy Edmonton News.
PSA, he said, has attracted 40 teams for the spring league, 10 teams more from the previous competition.
Angeles added that the entry of visiting squads St.Albert GFS, St.Albert Slashers, Morinville Villagers, Fort Saskatchewan Magic have been a delightful development for PSA which has also the backing of 2015 Dealer of the Year Crosstown Auto Centre and The Filipino Connection.(p.e.n.)
