Weekend closure of Groat Road
From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday, June 12, northbound Groat Road will be subject to periodic temporary closures while crews install sections of the work deck on the 102 Avenue Bridge Replacement project. Closures will be controlled by a flag person and drivers are asked to exercise caution when driving through the construction zone.
As previously announced, the temporary closures will be followed by the total closure of Groat Road, 107 Avenue to River Valley Road, from 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 12 until 6 a.m. Monday, June 15 in order to install access platforms and deck forms on the 102 Avenue Bridge Replacement Project.
While Groat Road is closed, parking will be prohibited on the east side of 116 Street between 100 Avenue and Jasper Avenue.
