News Release

ETS service changes start Sunday

Starting Sunday, June 28, 2015, Edmonton Transit System is making permanent service changes to 29 routes that travel into the downtown, with adjustments to schedules and bus stop locations.

The changes include removal of bus service on 102 Avenue between 95 Street and 103 Street. Bus stops near Edmonton City Centre Mall, Don Wheaton YMCA, Commerce Place, Churchill Square, Stanley A. Milner Library, and the Winspear Centre will be permanently closed.

These changes are in addition to the adjustments made in April to support lane and road closures needed to accommodate construction of Rogers Place Arena, new downtown office buildings and preparations for the Valley Line LRT along 102 Avenue.

The 29 routes permanently changing starting Sunday, June 28, 2015 are routes: 3, 7, 8, 12, 14, 15, 16, 52, 60, 61, 62, 65, 68, 69, 72, 90, 100, 112, 125, 134, 140, 151, 160, 161, 162, 180, 197, 308, 309 and some DATS stop adjustments.

ETS riders are encouraged to check and confirm their travel routes and schedules by visitingtakeETS.com, picking up a new brochure or calling ETS’ automated BusLink line for information at 780-496-1600.
