Edmontonians are invited to attend three open houses to learn more and provide feedback about the recently released EndPovertyEdmonton strategy. The report outlines 28 recommendations to eliminate poverty in Edmonton in one generation.

Residents will be asked to comment on the report including what they like, what needs improvement and what they believe is missing. Short presentations will also be given at each open house, every hour, on the hour. An online survey is also available for residents who cannot make it to the open houses. The survey is open until October 31.

Once the public open houses and community engagement sessions are complete, the Task Force will compile the new information and incorporate the appropriate changes into the EndPovertyEdmonton strategy, to be presented to City Council in December.
