

Pinoy Aces started hot and pulled away in the last five minutes to shut down the Eyeballers, 77-62 in the ongoing 2015 Philippine Sport Association-Crosstown Auto Centre Fall/Winter Basketball League in Edmonton.
Daryll Supnit and Eric Ramirez led the charge for the Aces en route to their fifth victory in eight games.
Chris Navalga, Ferdie Calabines, Reymar Sabenano and Alvin Claveria tried to rally the Eyeballers in the dying minutes but time was no longer on their side as they absorbed their fifth setback against three wins.
In the other game, X-Men found no obstacles in beating Obstakol, 62-55 to improve to a 5-2 win-loss card.
Obstakol suffered its seventh loss in eight games.
Joseph Reyes led X-Men with 14 points added by Vincent Angel’s 13 while Carl Pascual topscored for Obstakol with 16 and Brian Leyte added 15 baskets.
