Update on City pools and spray parks
The hot summer temperatures have City of Edmonton crews working hard to open spray parks and outdoor pools across the City.
The following district spray parks will be open by May 6:
- Callingwood, Castle Downs
- G. Edmund Kelly, Glengarry
- Jackie Parker Park
- Mill Woods
Other local neighbourhood spray parks will open by May 20.
If the hot weather continues, City of Edmonton outdoor pools will begin opening May long weekend, while City Hall pool is scheduled to open Friday, May 20. Crews and staff are in the process of preparing outdoor pools for public use, repairing basins, testing heating and filtration systems, and ensuring the facilities are safe and clean for families.
