EDMONTON — If you are planning to set up your own business and need help, then this is your chance to start the ball rolling.
On February 3, a Saturday, the Quality Care Group of Companies is hosting the “Business Start-ups Road Map to Success” event at the Leefield Community Hall, 7910-36 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6K 1H7 in cooperation with the newly-formed Philippine Business Society of Alberta.
Quality Care Group is composed of Quality Sleep Care, Alberta Medical Supplies, Medicus Family Clinic and Pharmacy and CanPay Inc. and its owners agreed to give back to the community by holding the event.
“All of us come to Canada to seek for a better life for our families. Many of us thought of getting into business and we don’t know exactly where to start. This is what we thought of, humbly giving back to the community and helping others to know how to be a businessperson in Canada,” said Kris Salumbides, co-founder of Quality Care Group, who spoke on behalf of the co-owners.
“This is like a New Year’s gift for the participants from the Quality Care Group of Companies,” said Salumbides.
Salumbides added that they have invited business owners, lawyers, accountants, lease coaches and bankers who will provide valuable information to participants. 150 spots are available.
The one-day event which starts at 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. will also be covered on FB live by Filipino community volunteer and host Benjie Lindo.
Interested participants can reach Salumbides at 780-729-1215 or call Benjie Lindo at 780-885-2698.
