CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (Philippines News Agency) –The Department of Social Welfare and Development of Northern Mindanao (DSWD-10) on Thursday said it has installed a monitoring system to track payout status for Marawi siege survivors.
DSWD-10 Information Officer Oliver Inodeo said the agency’s own information technology experts developed and tested the system’s during the payout for the Livelihood Settlement Grant (LSG) and Transitory Family Support Package (TFSP).
Inodeo said the pilot test conducted on a Marawi barangay was successful, with the monitoring system showing a real-time update of the payout for beneficiaries.
Inodeo said the program is fed by a database from the Kathanor (biometric profiling), which is the baseline data for the payout.
DSWD-10 Director Mari-Flor Libang said the system is hosted by a local server and can be accessed through a web browser using a computer or a smartphone. (PNA)
