Edmonton Elections hosts first virtual information session for aspiring candidates 

Thinking of running in the 2021 Edmonton Elections? Edmonton Elections invites aspiring candidates to its first ever virtual information session. Learn about important election processes for candidates, including how to register, upcoming deadlines and changes to rules and regulations.

The session will include a presentation from City Clerk and Returning Officer Aileen Giesbrecht followed by a question and answer period. The session will be available online for those unable to watch the livestream.
Three more information sessions will take place in the upcoming months. Topics to be covered will include an overview of the election process, campaign financing, campaigning protocols and limitations, election day expectations, post election process and campaign disclosure statements.
