On Demand Transit Service Update

On Demand Transit service ridership has risen steadily since the pilot launched in April 2021 and currently averages 7,000 rides per week. Based on public feedback and ridership data, ETS continues to adjust the City’s On Demand Transit service to better serve Edmontonians. This month’s expansion will be the largest since the service launched. Eleven new neighbourhoods, including seven neighbourhoods in north Edmonton, will start receiving On Demand Transit.

On April 24, On Demand Transit will add service to the following neighbourhoods: Uplands, Stillwater, Glenridding Ravine, Balwin, as well as portions of Albany, Canossa, Rapperswill, Chambery, Elsinore, Klarvatten and Kinglet Gardens.

On Demand Transit stops will also be added in Cavanagh and Henderson Estates, and riders from Montrose will be able to travel to/from Belvedere Transit Centre using On Demand Transit.
