School Closure Information: Parent payment portal opening soon

To help ease the extra costs families may face while children are home during labour action, eligible parents and guardians will soon be able to apply for the parent payment program.

When the payment portal opens on October 14, eligible families will receive $30 per child for each day of labour action. For a 5-day school week, this equates to $150 per week, per child.
