Kamloops to host the Futsal Canadian Championship in 2027

Canada Soccer’s 2027 Futsal Canadian Championship will be hosted in Kamloops, British Columbia next April with matches to be played at the city’s prestigious Tournament Capital Centre. A city brimming with natural beauty, outdoor adventures, and a vibrant cultural scene, Kamloops is a proven sports hub that will bring the Futsal Canadian Championship to the province of British Columbia for the first time.

As an exciting and fast-paced sport played indoors on a court with five players to each side, Canada’s top futsal clubs qualify for the Futsal Canadian Championship each year through their provincial and territorial competitions. This past year, 17 clubs qualified for the Futsal Canadian Championship across the men’s and women’s divisions with more than 200 athletes, 50 coaches/staff, and 20 referees attending the 2026 competition in Calgary.

“We are thrilled that Kamloops will host the 2027 Futsal Canadian Championship and welcome teams from across the country to British Columbia. Kamloops has a strong reputation for hosting outstanding sporting events and this competition will play an important role in the continued growth of futsal in Canada.”
