Hensley Tingson topscored with 26 points for the Barakos as they shot down the Dream Team, 87-66 at the start of the 2015 Philippine Sport Association-Crosstown Auto Centre Fall/Winter Basketball League, yesterday, at the Father Troy Catholic School gym.
The Barakos started pulling away at the start of the second half as the Dream Team could not find their chemistry, 51-33, 16:30 remaining and kept on piling more points to erect a comfortable 20-point lead, 65-45, 10:27 left.
Francis Miale led the losing cause for the Dream Team with 15 points.
Meanwhile, Chris Tantengco led the Bomb Squad with 27 points as they downed the Knights, 115-76. Teammates Jomar Magdaong helped with 24 points and Carm Restauro added 22 baskets.
Patrick Jimenez and Eric Guerrero contributed 12 points, apiece for the Knights.
In the other games, X-Men defeated Eswar, 79-73; Crosstown RAM Boys trounced the Fallen 44, 117-78, Palabok House beat Drywall, 115-85 and Lowell Ferrer fired 31 points that included five three-point shots to lead Exemplar Wealth Management Corp. in subduing the Pacific, 82-75.(pinoy edmonton news)
